St. Clement Mary Hofbauer School incorporates the Course of Study developed and approved by the Department of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. These goals were written in the pursuit of excellence. Excellence is achieved when an individual develops his/her unique talents to their fullest potential. Through partnering with families, dedicated faculty members help each child meet his/ her own God given potential and best utlize his/her own gifts.
- Our Catholic faith is the focal point of our education process, and it permeates all curriculum areas.
- All students take Religion classes, participate in retreats, and other hallmarks of a Catholic School.
- All classrooms, the library media center, and the PC lab are Internet connected through Comcast.
- Wi-Fi is available throughout the school grounds.
- A reading resource teachers, speech therapist, counselor, and tutoring services are available on a limited basis.
- Teacher Assistants are employed in Pre-K, kindergarten, and other areas.
- St. Clement Mary Hofbauer teachers are state certified. 85% have masters degrees or equivalency.
- 8th grade offers both Algebra and Pre-Algebra determined by the student's skills and needs.
- Language Arts program which incorporates phonics, literature, grammar, spelling, writing, vocabulary development and directed reading lessons and features new updated research based materials.
- Required summer reading and follow up activities in all grades.
